How to Upload Long Images for Showcases [Featured works]

A simple guide to uploading images (or gifs) on Steam with whatsoever height for Artwork or Screenshot showcases.

Overview

This guide will guide to you through how to upload long images to the artwork or screenshot showcase. Special thanks for MightyG3 for the discovery of this exploit which completely changed steam contour artworks.

You must be at least Level 10 on Steam to show an artwork/screenshot showcase.
Be careful not to upload images likewise modest in resolution to be long. Steam.Design[steam.design] will automatically crop your steam background to the correct dimensions.

If you lot are using the normal artwork showcase (ane middle and 1 side); for centre artwork, width should be 506 pixels wide and any height. Then side artwork should be 100 pixels and with the same acme as the centre if you want it to align.

If you lot are using the featured artwork showcase which is but one big eye artwork, then it needs to exist 630 pixels wide and any height.

Instructions

Open up this link in Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Right click anywhere on the page, click inspect/inspect chemical element then go to the 'Console'.

IMPORTANT

: On the artwork selector, your artwork will appear to be a thin blackness line. That is perfectly fine and it ways the code worked, when you select the artwork it should await normal after loading.
